Hello World I am Terran Gilbert a.ka. T-ran, I am young man from Chattanooga,TN. I am the second boy from five kids. What I love the most about me is that I have a passion for God and music. I Love to worship! I write, play, produce, and sing. I have a Group call 22Visionz that was founded in 1996. Let me tell you a little about them. 22Visionz is a Christian band and they believe that God is their hope in times such as these. They desire to help young people succeed by portraying alternatives to those who live negative life styles. T-ran said, “Our unique combination of Hip-hop, Classical, Pop and R&B, attracts and draws a wide variety of numerous people to its uplifting lyrics and message.” Their music also incorporates other styles such as, Contemporary Gospel, Worship, and yes, even Rock and Jazz. T-ran, “We do not put God in a box; we make Him apart of our everyday life.” The group, 22Visionz, was established in 1996. The name comes from Proverbs 22 which says, “A good name is worth more than silver and gold.” We have joined with Angels in Flight, which is a non- profit Organization that helps disadvantaged children and provides a positive influence with a Christian perspective. 22Visionz was founded by Terran Gilbert, Russell Gilbert, and Terri Gilbert. They have opened up for, and perform with many mainstream artists; Christian and secular. To name a few, there are: Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant, Crabb Family, Kirk Franklin, Shania Twain and Freddy Jackson. They were also able to perform for J- fest, Camp Agape of Cleveland and the NFL football camp sponsored by Angels in Flight. Being the first Christian group to sing before 33 Senators in Nashville, they were given a proclamation from the State of Tennessee. They also had the pleasure of joining Pastor Jimmy Harper on TBN. They also have a sang on the Babbie Mason ’s TV show in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as other TV shows. They have also been recognized in several newspapers and magazines.
